Berry Drink Recipes


Berry Blue Smoothie

2 cups fresh blueberries, washed
1 container (8 oz.) low fat vanilla yogurt
1 cup milk
1 can (6 oz.) unsweetened pineapple juice
3 tablespoons honey
1 1/2 cups ice cubes (about 16 cubes)

In the container of an electric blender, place blueberries, yogurt, milk,
pineapple juice and honey; whirl until smooth. Add ice cubes, a few at a
time, whirl until finely crushed. Serve immediately.

Blueberry Smoothie 2 cups frozen blueberries 1/2 cup blueberry juice 1/2 cup pineapple coconut juice (such as R.W. Knudsen's) 1/2 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt Combine all ingredients in a Vita Mix Blender or food processor
and puree until smooth. Serve immediately.

Jump Start Smoothie

1 bottle (16 oz.) V8 Splash® Orange Pineapple Juice Drink (2 cups), chilled
1 cup vanilla lowfat yogurt
2 cups frozen whole strawberries or raspberries

1. Put the juice, yogurt and strawberries in an electric blender container.

2. Cover and blend it’s until smooth.

3. Serve immediately.

Cherry Berry Smoothie

1-1/2 cups frozen unsweetened blueberries
1 cup frozen pitted dark sweet cherries (unsweetened)
2/3 cup blueberry juice or cranberry juice
1/2 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt
1 Tbsp lemon curd (optional)

Add ingredients to your Vita Mix or regular blender in order listed. Blend on
high until mixture is smooth (you shouldn't be able to see any chunks of fruit).
You may need to stop the blender in order to stir the fruit with a tamper or
long spoon if the blender gets stuck.

Blueberry Flip

1 c. blueberries
1 c. sliced peaches
2 bananas, slices
Vanilla ice cream
Ginger ale

In a medium bowl combine all the fruit. Spoon 1/2 of the fruit into 4 tall glasses.
Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Add the rest of the fruit and another scoop
of ice cream. Fill the glasses up with ginger ale and serve. Makes 4 servings.

Purple Berry Punch

3 cups fresh blueberries
2 cups sugar
2 (10 oz.) packages frozen strawberries, thawed
2 quarts ginger ale, chilled
1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade, slightly thawed

In a saucepan, stir and simmer blueberries and sugar for about 5 minutes. Add
strawberries and cook for 5 more minutes. Strain and chill. Add ginger ale and
lemonade. Serve with crushed ice.

Berry Bliss Smoothie

2 scoops raspberry sherbet
4 strawberries
15 blueberries
5 blackberries
16 oz orange juice

Put berries in a blender and blend until smooth while slowly adding the orange
juice. If you want to have your smoothie thicker, add some vanilla ice.

Pour into tall glass and serve chilled

Blueberry Cream Smoothie

Mmmm... Blueberry Cream Smoothie - delicious and easy to make.

1 cup fresh blueberries
4 scoops frozen vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup milk
1 can spray whipped topping

Combine blueberries, frozen yogurt, and milk in blender. Blend until smooth.
Pour into chilled glass, top with whipped cream and garnish with blueberries.
Serves 1

Superfood Smoothies

1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup frozen raspberries
1 cup frozen mango slices
2 cups pineapple coconut juice
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt

Combine all ingredients in your VitaMix or regular blender and blend on
high until smooth.

Blueberry Heaven Smoothie

Delicious blueberry smoothie recipe so good we call it Blueberry Heaven Smoothie!

1 package (12-ounce size) frozen thawed blueberries
OR
2 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
1 1/4 cup apple juice
1 cup vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup milk
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
In blender combine blueberries, apple juice, ice cream, milk and cinnamon
until smooth. Serve.

Blueberry Morning Smoothie

Delicious blueberry morning smoothie - a tasty way to start the day!

1 cup orange juice
1 cup blueberry yogurt
1 cup vanilla frozen yogurt
1/2 frozen banana (chunks)
1 1/2 cup frozen or fresh blueberries
1 scoop vanila flavored soy protein drink mix (optional)

Pour all liquid ingredients into the blender. Add all frozen ingredients.
Blend until smooth. Serve immediately. Serves 4.

Blueberry Peach Smoothie Recipe

Delicious Blueberry Peach Smoothie Recipe. Great for breakfast or as a
smoothie snack anytime!

1 whole banana, frozen
1 cup frozen peach slices
1/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries or raspberries
1/2 cup lowfat vanilla yogurt
1 tablespoon wheat germ

Place banana, frozen peach slices, blueberries, yogurt and wheat germ
in a blender and process until smooth. Serves 2.

Power Berry Smoothie

SAn explosion of berry goodness in this healthy and refreshing smoothie!

2 cups strawberries/raspberries, cleaned and trimmed
1 cup blueberries, washed and drained
1 banana
1 cup plain yogurt
1 scoop protein powder (optional)
1 cup ice
1/4 cup frozen lemonade concentrate

In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.

Serve immediately. Garnish with fresh berries and mint or a pretzel stick.

Berry Blast Smoothie

Delicious anytime!

1 banana, cut into chunks ½ cup raspberries, rinsed & drained
½ cup blueberries, rinsed & drained
½ cup strawberries, rinsed & drained
¼ cup blackberries, rinsed & drained
1 cup fat-free vanilla soy milk
1 tbsp. honey
¼ tsp. almond extract
8 whole almonds chopped
1 cup ice cubes
4 blanched almonds for garnish (optional)
Berries for garnish, rinsed & drained (optional)

Line baking sheet with foil; arrange banana slices and berries in a single layer
and freeze until solid. Combine banana, berries, soy milk, honey, almond extract,
chopped almonds and ice cubes in blender; process until smooth and creamy. Add ice
cubes and blend to a desired consistency. Divide into 2 glasses and garnish each
with almonds and berries.

Blueberry Lemonade

3 cups blueberries
3/4 cups sugar
2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice
3 cups cold water
ice cubes

Place the blueberries and sugar in a blender and puree. Place the lemon juice and water in a pitcher and strain the pureed blueberries through a medium mesh sieve into the pitcher. Stir well and pour into tall ice filled glasses.


Blueberry Eggnog

2 c Fresh or frozen blueberries, rinsed and drained
2 c Water
4 Eggs
2/3 c Sugar or honey
1 tb Vanilla
1 ts Nutmeg
2 c (1 pint) heavy cream
1 c Brandy or dark rum (optional)

In a saucepan, mix blueberries and water. Boil gently for 15 minutes. Press mixture through a fine strainer. Pour into a bowl and chill.

Beat eggs into blueberry puree until smooth. Beat in sugar, vanilla and nutmeg. Gradually beat in heavy cream and brandy. Chill until ready to serve. Stir again before serving in punch cups.
